AL Central Royalty

The Kansas City Royals have opened the 2025 season dropping 2 of 3 to the Guardians, but yesterday’s offensive explosion against the reeling Brewers should give fans hope for a campaign in which the division looks primed for a postseason push.

The Royals tore through spring training this year in Arizona, posting a 20-12 record and a +30 run differential. The offensive potential is there, and as long as key contributors like Bobby Witt Jr, Jonathan India, Salvador Perez, and Maikel Garcia can find and maintain their stroke, it should be enough to buoy a pitching staff that despite its flaws can be considered among the best in the division.

Odds to win the AL Central opened tight, many weren’t sure who would stand out from this group. The Guardians paced the standings last year and opened as the favorite.

Minnesota Twins +260
Cleveland Guardians +225
Detroit Tigers +290
Kansas City Royals +275
Chicago White Sox +15000

But now only a few games into the season, the odds have tightened ,with only the White Sox unable to be found between +225 and +275. This division should be entertaining and tight the entire season, just as it was in 2024. If you have a lean, the time to lock in value is April! Give me the Royals +260 at ESPNBet
